Decided to do some of the usual maintenance items today.

The tear down begins with tank & seat removal. Cleaned some dirt and crude off first, more to clean while it's apart. I then adjusted the valves, added a new spark plug, cleaned the air filter and cleaned out the gas tank. I can see the dirt being in the tank, but weeds too.....really?

Next up....Sub frame removal to get the rear shock out for servicing and a new 11.0 kg Eibach spring.

It is that time of year. I just R&R'd my carburetor on my WR this week. I will be pulling all of the suspension apart and greasing all of the bushings and bearings next.

PostSubject: New Shock Spring   11/9/2009, 5:13 pm

Fit the new Eibach spring. Now, it's time for servicing.

Matt from M-Tech is doing my shock re-build. New seals, oil, nitrogen charge and compression/rebound shim stack re-valve.

2 spanner wrenches made the job much easier.

But, not without a pipe wrench handle on each one for some added leverage.

*** Sorry for the shitty pic ***
