Just a quick review of the OGIO flight vest. I previously ran a standard hydration pack and a large fanny pack loaded with tools. I can tell you, that everything that I used to carry in those two bags fit in the vest with no problem. There is a tremendous amount of storage in it. Off the top of my head, this is what is in there; 2 tubes, Co2 canister, tire irons, wrenches, tape, registration, Leatherman, digital camera, batteries for GPS and video, and I swapped in my 100 oz. hydration bladder. ...

I scored some nice tire irons. They also double as an axle wrench for both front/rear.

And, they're super light weight titanium. A bit expensive at $30 each, but not any more than buying all the tools separately.

*I really want the same boots hoodaguy(?) bought. Perfect color and everything. The penny-pincher is strong in this one though. I'll order the Boxers tomorrow if enough people talk me into them.

*edit....hmmm, wonder if they run true to size?

Well I just got these items today. Ordered 4/17, so got them real quick. The guy I spoke to at Atomic (I forget his name) was very helpful in describing the products and was spot-on in advising what sizes to get. (34 waist for the pants and "large" for the Pressure suite) So far, the quality and fit of both items seem excellent. (Sorry, I don't feel like crash testing just yet! ) I highly recommend Atomic-Moto for their prices, merchandise and customer service!

I just ordered a set of Forma Dominators from Atomic-Moto.Com. They have them on sale for $199.

I’ve been looking for a new set of boots for a while. Since switching from my GS to a XR650R I now need something with more protection. I tried on a pair of Alpinestars and they didn’t fit my feet right (Just walking around in the store). Maybe they needed time to break in? But I also want a boot for ADV riding where if I have to get off and walk a bit to explore something I can. I would ...

Highway Dirt Bikes - Switch Assy....AWESOME!

Just finished the install of my Highway Dirt Bikes switch/clamp assembly. This unit is TOP NOTCH! It's very hard to find a handlebar switch that doesn't look like it came off a harley, they are all either chrome plated or HUGE and just don't work great on a dirt bike. While doing some searching on the net I came across Highway Dirt Bikes and ordered up one of their units.

I bought the front brake clamp/switch assy with two switches and wired the top switch to my headlight and the bottom ...

KTM Folding Mirrors

I've got a pair of these dual sport mirrors and they're worth the price. I bought the longer set without bar mounts (I had the XR's Only perch mounts) but after riding with mamacone the other day I took a closer look at his bar mounts and I really liked how low and tucked into the bike they were. So I converted to the bar mount style to limit the risk of breaking the perch which in turn could leave me without a clutch or front brake. The bar mounts work well and aren't cheesy by any means.
