Just picked it up 3 hours ago. Brand new 2008 CRF450X. I traded the pig in for it. Just couldn't get the power and performance from the BRP. Plus I like off roading more. I missed the Stump Jumper again this year, mainly because the XR just didn't feel right and I couldn't get what I thought it should have out of it. I'm not missing it next year. This bike has more power than a CR250 by a long shot. Plus it feels like a 125 in the flickability department!

Sweet looking bike, if I did not love the low maintanece pig, the 450x would be my ride too. Was the 650 r plated? Does the local shop have the 650 r? What shop?

It was actually an L model. But it is at Chets Honda in Quincy. I don't mind putting in the wrench time cause I grew up on CR 500's. I was thinking about looking into liscensing for the street, but right now I'm just lovin the off road again. Power wise you can't compare the 2 bikes this one is at least 2 or 3 times more than the 650L plus it weighs almost half as much.
