Thats sweet man. Did you do the upside down conversion? I was going to rob a set of forks off of one of my CR's but couldn't bring my self to do it. My bike is pretty much stock for now aside from being uncorked and all that.

Yes, I did the forks, using a set off an 07 CRF250R. Most important detail is that I shortened the length, most people skip this and it affects the steering negatively.

I am going to install a new header pipe today, clean the filter, change the oil, add some fender bags, and then I am good to go.

How much did you take off? I know my 500's had about 2 to 3 inches more travel than the XRL, So that had crossed my mind. Did you have to mod the stem too?

Welcome BP!

That pics must be from today.

It looks like the dusting of snow we got this morning.

Make sure you post up a link to your site in the vendor section too.... thumb

If I remember, I took an inch of travel away and shortened length about 2". Both match the stock L specs.

Yeah he's stupid. Matt and I did an awesome loop out through sisters and squaw creek, we should do it sometime. Like 90 miles of awesome beautiful scenery and a hairy water crossing! RR here.....
