Cool site, fellas. Thanks to XR500Rider for introducing me to it. I grew up on XRs but the last few years have had a handful of street bikes. I had an epiphany a couple weeks ago that I need a dual sport. I just could never get comfortable on a street bike. Maybe they sit too low, maybe the lack of knobbies looks odd to me, maybe I miss fork boots, I don't know. I think the real reason is I want something that will look better after a crash, not worse. So now I'm shopping for one, as soon as my street bikes sell. Well, actually, I'll either use the $ to buy a used XR650, stockpile canned food and weapons in preparation for Armegeddon, or get a hair transplant. I haven't made up my mind yet.
