get out there and ride !

went for a short lap yesterday up #2 canyon and into mission creek area and out behive. no dust, perfect temp. Ran into a millitary man looking for a jump start for his dead jeep. gave him my number and he never called, hope he made it back and didnt end up awal. i actually think the forest service dudes helped him out. it was nice. hope it stays like this till december. hope you all can make it out and get some good rides in before snow falls.

Got in 75 miles down at Ukiah today. Nice weather, still pretty dusty though.

I just did a quick run up Sand Creek on my F800GS.

I was having some problems with traction (Anakee 2s are good tires on the road but have minimal off-road capabilities) so I turned around and headed up Mission Creek. The gate is now closed so we can't make the Number 2 Canyon/Mission Creek connection until next year. The weather is beautiful and the roads are great.

this weekend would have been a good weekend to ride. i didnt get to go out on a big ride but i got to take my 5 yr old daughter out for her first ride around the block, now she wont leave me alone about going on the next ride. i learnd a valuable lesson, its great to share this sport with the young ones ! i am hoping for atleast one more weekend of good weather to ride some were.

I made it out a couple weekends ago, it was great. Except for all the traffic from the hunters. But still a good time. Hey Shane, give me a heads up if you are heading out. i would like to get another ride in before snow.

hey "W", i will. this fall hasnt turned out like i wanted it. only got 2 rides in in september and none in for october. The man club is threatning me that they are going to take my man card from me. ( i hope it is a short winter)

i got out there an rode a little bit today, needed to warn up the 990 to do the dastardley 2 hr oil change just finished. here are a few pics. the 990 is the funnest punkin on halloween

hey, great shots big jer. i think there are some home page pics there ! glad you made it out. trick or treating had my weekened all tied up. i am still hopeing for one last ride ! my goal is not to put the bike away this winter. i have even been thinking of some spikes for the tires. sounds like some people actually do this.

when i was a kid my old man would stud the tires on my sl 125 honda with short self tapping screws in each knob. i would ride on lake osoyoose all winter. boy did i have some awesome crashes!!
