mattawa feb. 12th

I have cabin fever and need to get out of wenatchee for some ridding. thinking Mattawa on 2/12. as long as kids dont get sick and weather holds out. i have yet to make it down there and would like someone that knows the area to go with. I think katoom victom is going also.

*the 5th and 12th are my only weekends to ride. Trying to do Walker on the 5th...and really wanted to do Belfair on the 12th......?

what is the temp forecasted to be? I almost froze to death last time.

Still to early to tell but probably in the 30's or 40's. That's what warm long underwear is for.

I'd go in a heart beat....I'm counting down the days till the doc says "your good to go". I don't care what the weather is ill be riding all the time.. I need say off this site..all these upcoming rides and ride reports are making me crazy.....I miss the ride and hanging with everyone...I'm tearing up...

so far it kinda looks like the temp is going to be around 46 deg. thats also the average for this time of year. will be able to get a better look in a couple days.

Reid, you should hook up with Tom Bowles on the meetup board. He is a rider at least at your level, plus knows Mattawa really well.

For the rest of you, you could hook with him as well, but be forewarned he's pretty damned good, and you need to be aware that trails easy for him, may not be for you.

I have new keys for my ignition, I need to install my new rear tire, I need to clean my carb/jets, and I need to haul out my long underwear, and then it's on!

We're taking my rig? I guess I need to get an adapter for your trailer. You're chipping in on fuel!

thats what i thought, but if you want we can spend a weeks worth of pay on gas for the blazer ! doesnt make a diffrence to me, just thought the heep would get better milage ! let me know if you need help with the mounting of you tire.

I tried to get some info from people about the tracks before mattawa, no one got back to me.

There are going to be a lot of people there from different forums it looks like?

Anyway, im not sure yet, but if you guys are going to cancel I need to know asap.

I might even prep his bike for him....I just want to smell the fresh exhaust in the air...the Doc said I'm advancing quick and things are healing very well..I almost have full range of motion and strength is coming back real well....I may be back sooner than later......I tend to misplace keys on a regular basis so me holding Inspectors key is probably not a good idea...

so far we are still a go for saterday. looking like 46 deg with clouds.the details were just what time we were going to try and be down there. and approx what time we would be leaving wenatchee. looking like maybe 10-10:30 for being in mattawa. my buddies and i have never been there .

I may be out. Need to figure out the times. Promised my son he could have a friend sleep over so need to be home at a reasonable time.

OH, i understand ! Kids come first in my book. I cant wait till they want to go ridding with me. I will just have to find a MC with princesses on it, and pink, and tassles, and a cell phone holder, and ect.
