Snowshoe Crossing, season two.

Fifty one degrees today!

Last year on March 13th I was able to start riding, after digging a path to the neighbor's lane because mine was still covered in ice...

This year was no different, except the snow seems to be a lot deeper.

So I couldn't take it any longer and just had to go for a spin before the sun set and the work week begins

Stalled it on the way out the other side...



A quick zip up the road and back to the barn, or so I though....

I seem to have forgotten about that ditch next to the neighbor's road.

Knobbies suck in snow and ice....

The following sequence is me laughing as I realize I'm lifting the ass end only to see the front is bogged down too... End up lifting the pig and walking it out.

Only ran over my own foot once.....

*I am SOOO jealous! DR. says I can ride now.....but I've been waiting for my local dealer to order my part for the bike. First time wrong part second time decided to not order it. I'll give them until this Wed then start the process over ordering it myself online.

Such a dipshit... Thought my uploads last night were horribly slow. As it turns out I was uploading the wrong image files. Instead of loading the resized images I was uploading the full size images.

Ended up walking the out of my little snowshoe crossing. Neighbor kids think I'm nuts, but I don't care....



And looky looky, resized images load in about three seconds! WOOT!

So by now only the most die hard of you are probably still following this "ride report." ha ha ha....

So that's pretty much it.

Dug a path to the road, went for a quick spin, played in the snow and can say I went for my first ride this year!

Looks like I'll be drinking the RED Kool-Aid again this year

My son was taking the photos. You know how sometimes a grown up is never in the pictures? Or at least the grown up taking the pictures is never in the pictures?

I make a point of having my family take pictures of me every now and then to make sure I exist..... LOL
