HI from Everett

Hi all. I'm in Everett. I'm a noob. Until recently I was on a 250 KLX, but have recently upgraded to a KTM 530. I'm hoping to find some new friends in the area to get out with. I dig the longer faster rides more then the tight stuff, but I'm up for most anything that gets me out of the house. Anyone up for a ride this Saturday?

Saturdays are always slammed for me, otherwise I'd go with ya. My fiance and I are probably going go on a ride sunday..... She has a little 125cc scooter though... so no dirt roads. Ha ha. If we go, you're more than welcome to join.

I was thinking about Green Mountain up off of the Mountain Loop. It's pretty easy going logging roads, 40-50 miles of riding, maybe, back and forth from parking spot. I forget the name of the FS, its across the road from the railroad tunnel hike. But if you have somewhere else in mind I would be up for it. I was thinking morning as well.

Don't think I've been up that way. I'll find out tonight if I have anything going on Sat for sure. Sunday is booked with Mariners game and then my softball game.

I am still up for it. Just to forewarn, I'm not sure of the conditions up there right now and you might find the riding a bit low key. I'd hate to have you come up this way if that won't work. If there is any other place that you might be more sure of that you would enjoy I would be up for that as well.

Are you hoping to be riding by 6 or 7? How about 8am at the Mcdonalds in Granite Falls? I will be in a black Ranger. I will carrying the bike in the back of the truck up to the turn off.

The area I am looking at is FR 41. You head out of Granite Falls on the Mt Loop, its on the left about 6 miles out, a couple of miles before Robe.

As long as we aren't trying to make it through snow I should be fine. My tires are old. I'm just looking for fire roads to cruze on for awhile.

Unrelated to that^....I just noticed my front was completely flat. Just spooned on some old tires a week or so ago. Pumped it up, we'll see if it holds.

Check this thread before you leave tomorrow morning!!! I'll post if I have to cancel because of it. (i have a spare tube but can't remember if it's a front or rear and also short on time)

Yah, gonna have to pass on the idea that it's just to miserable a time riding for an hour in the rain on the freeway. Sorry for wussing out.

You're pretty close to me man. I'd be happy to meet up sometime soon and hit some fire roads! This weekend is pretty busy, but the next one is pretty much free.
