Hi all, another newbie here. I'm the proud new (2nd) owner of a very clean and low mile '09 XR650L. I've been away from bikes for the last 10yrs (marriage), so I'm re-gearing up with new duds and tools. I feel like Ralphie just unwrapping his Red Rider!
I live in Eastern Oregon which is PERFECT for Dual Sport riding, as is the surrounding country in ID and WA. The only thing that bums me out is that it's October, and snow is just around the corner. I'm afraid I'll want to farkle all winter to cope with waiting for Spring.
