| I thought that they were using a chinese knock off based on the Honda CRF450 for this. I think that a lot of the parts from the Honda will work on the Christini. | |

| yes its a crf 450x im finding that most honda parts will work although another member here has the same bike and found that his rekluse clutch wouldnt fit with out some machining. i am headed out to the garage now to see if the skid plate i bought will fit. thats where i am having some doubt as its christinis part of the frame. | |

| How's the mighty Christini working for you. I love the idea. They used to make the only AWD mountian bike. Only read 2 articles about it, though. I so love the platform and would love to see the bike being the new "thing." Looking forward to your updates and ride pics. | |

| so far its a blast. other than a few manufacturing defects (which to Christinis credit are quickly being addressed) the bike seems sound, AWD system is performing flawlessly, and shes ready for more farkles. added an aluminum skidplate and grip guards. next on the list is a new pipe, jets, and a little knife action to the air box to let her breath and i think she will be almost as scary as my brothers husky 510TE. taking her to tahuya this weekend for more singletrack action. uped my game for sure. no more butt clinching moments on gravel corners (spent a night in ICU when i was a kid due to a wipe-out on gravel @ 50mph) 25 years later and i still get a pucker moment on those corners. | |

| Ahh, the ICU. Been close to there, many times. Last time my wife ended up taking care of me in the ER. She called me a baby when they were scraping out the gravel and straightening my ankle. Good times. Glad to hear about the bike. Maybe that will be the next purchase after the new bikes for the kids. Just got a 2001 XR650L a couple weeks ago. | |
