I sold my 172 and I am a year or two away from building my next airplane. I thought a powered (backpack style) parachute may be the way to go for relative cheap flying. I did not know that they had two place versions . I did a little looking on line and everyone says you have to be an instuctor to fly with two people. I would assume that would not apply to us certified pilots (I would make sure I had training and a fair amount of time by myself before hooking up another person). Have you looked into this? How much time do you have with a powered chute? I can feel a itch coming on........
