All new to the forum, mostly computer stupid, hungry for dualsport riding. I am converting my WR 250 F, although a bit undersize for 70 mph, I have enjoyed this bike for 10 years. I have ridden extremely remote single track mostly due to the guys I have ridden with all my adult life. These guys keep me humble being A level, vet pro, accomplished riders, they like to abuse me and push the miles towards 80+ per day. I can't wait to ride the trails and roads at the same time. My last dualsport was a 93 Suzuki DR 250. I did plenty of riding on it till a good bunch of racers got hold of me.

Welcome! I think you will like the forum.

I must be older, my first plated enduro was a DT1 Yamaha 250 Enduro. Some Hodaka's and Kawasaki's were prior, but I was to young for a license!

Older??? I don't know? My first bike was a beasty 1980 Suzuki PE 400, basicaly an RM with a light, and a big desert tank. I loved to hit the pipe on that thing "HOLD ON"! Anyone remember?

Ya - WAY OLDER. But I do remember the PE's for sure!

I was out of college and married by 1980! Went through a street phase, Norton's and Triumphs by then!!

Didn't get back into dirt until 1990 when I moved to Wenatchee.

That's what is great about this site - Old, middle and young!!

Thanks to those who have greeted me. I can hardly wait to get my bike plated so I can get back to riding. I could go now but I want to get the plate just to make it official. The 60 - 80 mile marks are hard earned at places like Mad River or Tanum. It really is all day, hot, dusty, gnarly single track and it does hurt. The guys who I have ridden with are real hard core and I'm the guy who is there for comedy content!
