Hey everyone. New to this forum obviously and just saying hello.

I have many years experience on and around motorcycles. However, I have always had a huge interest in off road riding with a dual sport but never pulled the trigger and got one. I finally did just that. I just purchased a 12 Yamaha WR250R and plan on putting many miles on it on the weekends.

I hope to meet alot of you from this site and join in on some group type rides. Hopefully I can make alot of new friends and see some amazing parts of oregon that I have always bypassed because of the need to stay on pavement.

If anyone wants to take me under their wing and show me some cool places to go ride, please message me. Thanks.

D

Welcome!
Just spent the weekend camping and off-roading in the Umatilla National Forest 6 miles past the Morrow County OHV part. Stayed in the Bull Prairie camp ground. You can ride out of the campground if you have plated bikes. The campground is on a lake and the view from Tamarack look out tower is amazing. It is a must do. And, there is the Morrow county ORV park with cabins, camping and now new showers.

You are going to love the fun.
thinking about the ride across Oregon Next year.
