Hey Tod you seem to be well connected, politically speaking. Why don't you tell your politician buddies to lighten up and quit arguing so much? Maybe start governing again?

If it's impossible for the government to operate with the current president, the problem is much deeper than I thought. I figured it was just a bunch of crazed reactionaries who are threatening to blow up the whole country if we don't fly to Cuba.

That's lame. When I thru hiked the PCT southbound in 05 I had all of southern California to myself. I learned later it was closed because of fire, but I didn't see anything burning and I wasn't going to stop for a sign after walking 2000 miles. I guess I unwittingly got wilderness experience I really wanted within sight of L.A. by accident.
