| Geospatial Information Systems data has become very easy for programmers to collect and use in products similar to "freeware." Just like bablefish, or babblefish or whatever that conversion software stuff is, this takes it one step further and provides an independently developed map set (base map). A few states are available if you are traveling. I successfully downloaded the Montana base map onto my mule laptop, 2003 Dell Inspiron, Pentium 4, XP.
