jUST O(oops)ne of my local runs.

It's probably going to rain and I haven't decided yet if I'm really going. Haven't ridden in over 2weeks(?)

Always interested. And what about the rain? Makes things more interesting most times. I have a buddy that just bought a brand new KTM and is itching to go riding places. So post up, let us all know what you are thinking, and see if we can make it happen.

Park and Ride at 0900
I could make it somewhere else, but I thought if you truck in, this would make a good staging spot. From here it's about 12miles of asphalt, but FUN! You could park the truck at the end if you wanted with almost no backtracking, entirely up to you. If you want to make it earlier we could do coffee, but I figure you can drink on the way over, lol.

Ride is about 3hours (total guess) but can be as long as you want with little side trips. If we are lucky the upper gate will be open (I highly doubt it thou). Hopefully there isn't any snow, that could ruin it.

Just went and did some searching, the one gate is closed indefinitely due to budget cuts. Sucks cause there is supposed to be a lot of camping and trail hiking. Really wanted to check that out for future endeavors.

Inspector, I sent you an e-mail, but in case you didn't get it... I cannot make it tomorrow. I had a major brain fart and forgot about a bunch of family flying in this weekend for a visit. I was threatened with bodily harm if I was gone at all this weekend. I apologize, as I was looking forward to riding with you again on your own turf. Lets get together real soon though.

^LoL, I got confused as to add picks here or start another thread. Should have just added pics here but instead started another thread. O'well.

Didn't start raining until I got to the very top. I think it was actually snow. Pretty much just sprinkled until I got out to the road. Had to gear back up with warmer clothing then cause that rain stings at anything above 50mph. I was wet when I got home, but not soaked.

Saw the other thread. looked like a good ride. Certainly more fun that what I did today. Wound up driving all the way over to the airport and back. It was raining hard down south, thought about you out there and hoped it wasn't too bad. I hope to make the next one. Thanks for the RR.

i just bought a set of D606's from Denniskirk.com for $63.00 for the back, 130/90/17 and about that for the front, they also add $5.00 for a tire shiping fee. its the cheapest i found. orderd friday, should be here next friday. ( so exited i think i pee'd my self )
