Ride Teanaway 7/10/11

Come on out and ride Teanaway with us. Ride Saturday and Sunday or either. We'll be covering the whole Teanaway, Miller, Blewett area. Mostly single track, some extreme single track with opt outs. Forest service, fire and log roads thrown in between sections with optional highway thrown in for your own riding preferences. Loops will not exceed 75 miles.

Here's some of the trails we will be riding,

Miller Peak, Teanaway ridge, County line, Iron Bear, Jungle Creek, Way Creek, Big Johnson Medra, West Fork, Middle Fork, Jolly Mtn, Boulder Deroux, Boulder Deroux spur, Huckleberry Basin, Yellow Hill, 3-Brothers, with stops at places like Elsinore mine, Gallagher Lake, Miller Peak summit, Old 3-Brothers look out, etc, etc.

Directions to camp:
From Cle Elum, head east on SR970. Go approximately 5 miles, turn north (left) on Teanaway Rd, go 13 miles, take right at 29 Pines campground, go approx 1 mile and left at wye, approx 1 mile, camp and start of ride on left, across from old ranger station.

I'll post a map some days before the ride. You can get maps of the area from the Cle Elum ranger station. I will have maps available at camp.

JULY 10/11 I wish it was this weekend, but its a little early for this area..

i might be interested... is it just like an orv park and riding trails and camp out at night?

Yea,except its really not what you would call an ORV park, the area where we will be camping is in the middle of a trail system, its pretty much a dry camp,(no running water, restroom or fee) it is a cool camp area right on the teanawa river, Ive been using this spot for years, rest rooms are about a mile up the road at Beverly camp ground. If you do come, feel free to camp where you like, Beverly camp is 8$ a day, and 29 Pines is free, but isnt what youd call, totally motorcycle friendly. The trails here are the best, but can be a little tite in areas, so i wouldnt bring your 950 adventure or GS, A 650L is about max in this area...

sounds good.. i will try my best to try to get things in order... only way i can get there with my bike is if i get the info on my trailer transfered over in time... not sure if it will work though becasue im waiting for the title to arrive in my uncles name before i can bring it over to mine...
