Cowboy Candle

The Cowboy Candle is easy to make, easy to transport, and makes an instant campfire. Toss a few in the back of the pickup instead of fumbling with stacks of split firewood. Here's how to make one...

Stand a round of firewood vertically, any length will do. With a chain saw cut into wedges like you would cut a pizza but don't cut all the way down, you want it to remain as one piece. Squirt a bit of charcoal lighter fluid into the center then ignite. The slots allow air to flow. You can place a pan or a pot on top for cooking until it burns down and falls apart.
