This weekend looks bad, but how about next?

Who's turn is it to post a ride now?

Wow, two weekends in a row that sucked donkey balls because I didn't get to ride. I'm thinking saturday the 28th I'm getting out rain or shine.

Well I finally got out today. What's it been, three weeks?? Didn't stay out long enough. Just kind of cruised around looking.

I seriously can't wait till it warms up!!

LoL. I had my fill of puddles a few weeks ago. This one was more of a lake. I think that picture only showed about a quarter of the thing.

* I need to start a thread about "what to do if you drop/submerge you bike in the water". I don't have a clue what to do.

When I was a kid, I rode my 85 XR600 through what I thought was a mud puddle and the it turned out to be deep enough that when the bike died I was up to my chin strap in water! I had to drain the fuel tank disassemble the airbox and both carbs. Drain the oil, remove the exhaust and drain it, repack the silencer. Finally get it started again run it for a few minutes stop change the oil, run it for a few more minutes, drain the oil again repeat this process 3 more times and there you have it! Fun Fun Fun! So with that, I too choose to avoid bigger puddles epecially with a 4 smoker.
