Home Depot has 18" Homelite Pro Chainsaws (I know they are only home owner grade) on clearance for $99 with the hard case included. Not a bad deal if your only needing it for occasional use, camping etc. I picked one up yesterday for light trimming work around the house.

Get to fabricating, could have used a chain saw on several rides. Build a quick release so all you KTM riders can take turns packing it.

It would take a tank of a bike like a big XRR to haul a saw like that

You are right, the XRR would not even notice the extra pounds with all its torque.
