| CDA is short for Coeur d'Alene, prveviously a nice little city. Still an OK place but downtown is just a very overpriced tourist place in summer and very overpriced ghost town for the other 8 months Capone's is a bright spot and there are other good bars and eateries. I live north and out in the sticks. I did get in about 20 miles last Saturday, just putting around on paved county roads. My Vmax wouldnt' start but the XRR scared me by starting in two kicks, so I went for a ride just to say I went for a ride. I hope to make some friends on here, maybe go for a ride. Again thanks for the welcomes | |

| You got love the XR's still my favorite ride, don't let the KTM guy's think they have something on you. The only thing they have is the magic button. Which is a big thing. Welcome | |

| Hey, welcome to the madhouse Cool. I almost picked up an XRR before I got my WR. Great bikes with alot of history and support. I make it to CDA several times a summer, it is a great ride. I notice you said you also have a V max. What year? I picked up a new '09 last August. Haven't had a chance to put many miles on it yet. Looking forward to this summer. | |

| Thanks W, My Vmax is a 99. I used to sell them in a Yamaha shop in CDA, but my pay was so poor I could not afford one even a cost plus. I wasn't necessarily hooked on that year, I just wanted a low milage one that was adult owned and as stock as I could get. I finally found it in 05. I was on dialysis for 20 months and finnally got a transplant (thanks brother) so I didnt get to ride much for three years. Its a great bike, but I wish the seat and the footpegs were not so close. I have long legs and it really bunches me up. I hate that part but love the RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSH! I love the looks of yours, but Im a school teacher (endangered species in Idaho) so my old used bikes will do me fine...unitl they trade me for a laptop. I have had almost 100 bikes in my long lucky life, and I hope to keep these for a long time. | |

| Its cool you have had such a large collection of bikes throughout your life, and thanks to your brother, you are still around to enjoy them. Honestly, I am not made of money, I am just a mechanic doing custom work building bikes and sleds and cars. And there isn't a lot of call for that right now, so things are a little slow. I just made a decision to stay single my whole life, and without that family to take care of, I have considerably more disposable income to buy cool toys. I hope we can hook up for a ride sometime this summer. | |
