thats why i took the mono shock off the KLR and sent it away for a bigger spring. looks like i wont be getting it back in time for the 70's predicted for the end of the week. crapped out for another weekend but if it cures my bottoming out problem, it will be worth the lost weekend. the only other alternative would be to loose some of my fat arse and give the spring a break but that would take too long. hell it took me 40 years to get it that big in the first place scared

I hear that, I am was just frustrated since it has been so long since I have ridden. I hope to find some good area's that are hours away to ride.

well in Yelm, seems if you go in any direction for an hour, you'll be in the thick stuff having fun. capital forest has trails and fs roads to hone the skills and thats 45 min from tacoma. myself? i entered the dirty face dual sport ride for next month but thats a 2.5 hr trip. when i get my spring back i might be talked into a ride near your neck of the woods. take the mountain roads to greenwater or something.

I have heard of CF, I will go check it out. Nothing too adventurous though, I don't like doing that kind of riding when I am alone. Let me know when you have a chance to get down my way. Coffee will be on me.

I learned a long time ago that if I waited for perfect conditions I'd never get much riding. Some of my most memorable rides were taken in conditions that were far from ideal. Also, back when I was racing, I would beat guys who were faster than me in dry conditions.

If it's wet, just keep the throttle pinned!

The infamous snow run enduro in Connecticut. Used to put the numbers and scorecard on the bike before unloading it from the van.
