My vintage dualsport..

Picked up a pair of SL350's this last July. A K1 (71) and a K2 (72). I got 'em both running, and traded the 72 to my little brother for his KLR.

The 71 is a keeper. (I say that.. but I have a habit of going thru motorcycles..) The very first bike I was ever given a ride on was an SL350.

This little bugger is complete, and in pretty darned good condition. One of these days, I might completely tear it down and restore it. All I've done so far is rebuilt the carbs & petcock, lubed all the cables, bought airfilters & battery, put on new chain/sprockets, stock exhaust, and cleaned a TON. It sure was sweet to hear that sucker run for the first time in over 20 years..(plate expired in the early 80's) I've put probably 100 miles on it so far.. changed the oil 3 times 'cause I'm anal that way..

Pipes on.. runs great! Now I'm working on restoring the cracked side covers.. hopefully finish those this winter..
