Neutral light staying on KLR650

I have a newer klr650 and the neutral light will not shut off. This does not affect any thing to my knowledge other than the light is on when i am doing in 5th gear or in neutral. How do you get it to function properly once again. any suggestions would be great be kind I am new at this.

May want to find a KLR specific forum. I know on our DR650, if the light quits working, it meens the screws fell out of the switch and you need to quit riding it until they are found so the dont go through the motor. But I dont know about the KLR's. You could also find a manual on line and find the diagram for the switch.

I know there is alot of KLR lover's out there that could and would help.
