|  Hello, MY boyfriend and I just completed the Washington Area Back Roads Discovery Route from the Bridge of the Gods to Canada. WOW! What an adventure. Wondering how many other women out there have completed the ride. And, anyone wanting to compare stories? Wanting to ride across Oregan next summer. I have a KTM 250 xcfw lowered for my heigth . I love my bike. Pics to follow. | |

"woman," slang, 1911, perhaps suggestive of broad (adj.) hips, but it also may trace to Amer.Eng. abroadwife, word for a woman (often a slave) away from her husband. Earliest use of the slang word suggests immorality or coarse, low-class women. Often offensive slang.
I would go with aboard or board if I was you. Let me suggest that I am neither low class, a prostitute or or have big hips. However, I have "broad shoulders" .
