Greetings,
It has been some time since I rode anywhere but the two lane roads here in the Sierra. The other day I went to a MC shop to buy an accessory and the sales manager said he had just taken a lightly used 2013 Yamaha XT 250 in on trade. Now it is in my garage next to my road bike. There are a ton of forestry roads and trails for OHV in the area and I felt I was missing out by not riding them as well. I don't much enjoy riding alone and have a few road riding friends but no one who does the dirt. So, anyone in the Truckee Tahoe area send me a note. Let's try the Rubicon or Blackwood Canyon and maybe Watson Peak, (when it is warmer) as starters.
This is a top notch web site and wish there was one like it that addressed places a bit further south than most of these posts seem to cover. I admit I am new to the site so have not had a chance to do any in depth looking around.
