Stopped to check out a pioneer cemetery








Heading down a steep canyon when we ran into a tumble weed block blown in by the last storm.  Well maybe we can clear a path....








Nope that's not going to happen.  Well then maybe we can skirt the edge of the tumble weeds without sliding down into the deep ravine.......Nope!  Ended up having to turn around and ride back up out of the canyon








Had a great time, hope to set up a ride again soon.

Loved your pictures.  I wish I could have been with you.  At 74 yrs old, I have given up riding.  But I still think about it all the time and miss it.  I started riding at the age of 16 and owned about 50 bikes of all types during those fun years. 

Nice to meet both of you too. I had a great ride as well! Thanks guys. I got to see some terrain I have wanted to ride for years but never ventured that far. Lots of the places we went I used to travel by in a company van and see the trails and wondered, where does that go? Now I know. I wish I had a bunch of pics to show but mine all look just like yours. I googled the old cemetery and it seems to have a reputation as a haunted place. Check out this link..

Not a good feeling when your armpit high in tumble weeds and you smell them frying on the exhaust.

For sure, in this case they were wet and extremely cold so no chance of a fire
