I put in a nice little 105 mile tour of the area today. Spent most of it on the dirt roads around here. I would like to see if there is any way to get to Coulee dam on the back dirt roads. They aren't real exciting but better than tarmac! I wanted to hear from others about their top speeds. In the dirt, wide open throttle, I can get 75mph, thats it. Not real terrific compared to my 5 hundy, but good enough. I tried to gps all of it, but lost reception when I put the unit in my pocket. Lots of roads out here!

I don't really have any roads here to get top speed. I'm pretty much a slow poke anyway.

Hmmmm, you should be squeezing a bit more out the 650... scratch

On the January ride out to Brothers the Garmin showed a max speed stat of 87.3 mph.

Are you running the stock 14/45 gearing?

Yep...all stock gearing. I'm running the 152 main though. I wonder if I should try a 158? I'll keep tinkering with it. I was hoping to crest 90-100 mph on the dirt but probly aiming a little high. But It's all good.
