Since the weather was freezing we did a small powder coat job at fellow member Focker's house. Tried not to get to Pimped out.

Nice job.........only I don't see any dirt & mud on it!! I just got mine before the snow started flying.....didn't get enough miles on it to change factory oil.. Looking forward to coming to "Tech Day" for suspension mods info. I want to "Float-like-a-butterfly" over bumpy roads/trails!!!

Basically we use my garage and stuckinmud's PC setup.
Wr250R Powder coat job! Oven002lw3

The parts are sandblasted at an undisclosed location.
After prepping the metal we shoot the powder using a Harbor Freight PC gun.
Then toss it in the oven for baby & me.

The best thing is after the part cools (usually 15-20 min) it's ready for install!
As for the mess...We've made a powder booth but honestly don't use it much. I blow most of the leftover powder out the door and hose out the garage on big jobs.

Yeah the powder coating is very trick. Looks factory!

I have a Vinyl graphics plotter so making custom stickers isn't a problem
