| I think a central Washington event would be awesome. I am not the best organizer, but I am good at completing a set of tasks, so if the idea people can come up with a plan, I am more than willing to help with he execution. | |

| well, looks like a bit of excitement brewin in the forum ! ya think we should try to pick a date and a place ? a 3 day weekend? the further south we go the earlier the spring. can't get in the bush up here in the great white north till mid june, normally. i know it's early, but this kind a shit's gonna take some thinkin an plannin to work in to everybody's schedule. soooo everybody needs to put there 2 cents in . what kind of ride also? my 990 or the ol 650, maybe both? ha ha probably the 650 it's easier to pick up when i do a double backflip and a triple gainer over the bars kind a crash, i'm a bit rusty on 2 wheels in the spring! an you haven't seen nothin till u seen a 6ft3 330lb guy do that, so lets hear them ideas!!!!! | |

| i'm with inspector, a bit of paved and a bit of dirt an some trail would be ideal. my ol broken body can't take much serious offroad. so anybody got any brainstorms for possible locations? be nice to be a place where everybody had to travel a little, but not alot. no matter where i'll have to go a ways,[i don't care]. wenatchee is the asshole of the world and oroville is 140 miles up it LOL. | |

| AAHHH,
Its great to see all the intrest. I was kinda thinking maybe memorial day weekened. may not work for some just putting the idea out, we may want to do it earlyer, i was just thinking of a long weekend. maybe 1 or 2 day ride, that would leave some time for us out of shape people to heal before returning to work. lets work on a date then on were we would want to ride, because the date will affect were we can or cant go due to snow elevatiuon early in the spring. Lets keep the ideas ROLLING !

| Leavenworth works for me. There seems to be a fair amount of riding from there if you know where to start, (which I don't, I just lucked out).
*I'd be willing to go further for a staging area if Leavenworth is too far for others.

| this is what i came up with. it starts in Leavenworth and ends in Wenatchee. its about 70 miles. feel free to give ideas and add to it if you want. we could easily do this ride in 1 day. we could even take it to Entiat from Wenatchee. but this is a start. click on the link below CLICK HERE

Heck, I don't think it has even gone below 40 in awhile here. Funny that last year I couldn't ride in a couple of places last year because of the snow until early may(I'll have to go back and look now). If the weather keeps up like this, I'll be able to hit most of those places by March this year.

| New fork seals, new rear tire, rebuilt water pump. I am hoping to get out on Saturday, maybe head up Derby to see how the snow is clearing. Anybody with me? We can scout some territory to see if it is ready for everyone to come for a ride. | |
