Hello all! Been lurking for a few days and thought I should join up. Awesome looking rides you go on. Just bought an 85 KLR 250 with less than 7K miles, fresh top end, newer tires and brakes and a lower rear sprocket (47T). This makes the 5th bike in my garage, 3 of which are DS/Enduro's. Also have a 79 Yamaha DT 125 2-stroke that I bought 18 years ago, a 73 Suzuki TS 250 2-stroke that my Dad bought in 74, a 69 Honda mini-trail 50, and an 85 Honda Shadow 500. It's been awhile since I did any good trail riding, and when I did I found the 2-strokes to be tricky in the Naches area. Couldn't keep them in the right power band. Almost all of my toys have engines: 5 bikes, 4 trucks, a four wheeler, and a Suzuki Samurai with 35" tires. Plus the wife's and the kid's cars make my house look like a car lot (or a junkyard?). The only things I don't have are a plane or a boat. Not ready for either.
I was a Ford dealership tech for years before I got out of it and got into law enforcement.

I can't wait to get on some local, and not-so-local trails!
