How did you cut the trees? My buddy and I were talking about what the best way to do that would be. Bow saw, chain saw?

Thanks.. I carry a Poulan Wild Thing on my rear fender rack. They are only $100 and can cut pretty well.. haven't found a big enough tree that I couldn't buzz through. I want to get a top handle, but they are a lot of money. Sometimes I just carry a foldable Gerber saw that works really well for small stuff, but 10" is about the limit of what I cut with it.

Awhaw! I see it on your bike now. I think mounting a chainsaw to my XRR would be my biggest hurdle. I like the chainsaw over the Gerber though. Thanks for the info

DON'T put it on the handle bars!! Waaaay too much weight up there. I tried that first. I wrecked a lot.

How far up into Washington are these kind of riding places. Not looking for exacts, just about how many miles in which direction from Vancouver. I haven't been riding in Washington at all yet but would sure like to, it looks like there's a lot of epic trail riding up there, my area kind of sucks for trails. May have to haul up there and camp out Friday night, ride the weekend then head home Sunday.

IMO those places are not worth the travel time to ride, (closer to Vancouver BC than Vancouver WA..hahaha). More epic places closer to you. Tillamook, Gifford Pinchot, Mt. Hood? LOL, you are surounded!!!

Tillamook: I really didn't like riding there. Maybe I was in a bad place but it was nothing but bottomless mud pits and quads everywhere. I really like trails that are not much more than a game trail.

Gifford Pinchot: ??? Google'n that one now. Never heard of such a place.

Mt. Hood: LaDee Flats needs more exploring and we've never gone to McCubbins Gulch. But if its anything like LaDee flats theres a bunch of rednecks flipping their toyotas in the mud, drink'n and target shooting.

I'm just very impressed with the trails I keep seeing in Ni6ht5 pictures.

Yeah, that's about all he does is ride He knows the spots, that's for sure!
*and the little SH*@ can ride ALL day and into the night too
