| But they are the best you have ever tried if that is what gets you to Mattatwa. LOL
They really are junk, probably wont last long at all, so in the long run, not much cheaper.

| Back to searching then. Just trying to find something cheaper then the 606's. Plus I just ripped them to shreds ride before last.
*how about the Kenda II masters (lol, i don't remember but they where close to the dunlops)
Maybe the Shinko 244? looks like a good winter tire....
**I guess i could just order the Kenda K760. They (along with my oldies) would get me through the winter. Meh.....i don't know

| I know Mamacone used some Kenda's and he said they wore pretty good. Google Rocky Mountain MC coupon codes and save some $. | |

| I put a Kenda k270 on the rear of the pig. It is holding up really good but it is not much of a traction tire, nothing like a 606. Works great on fire roads and gravel, do not think it will be good in sand or mud. The price is right, until you really need traction.

| + 1 for kenda, mine held up pretty good , felt good on dirt roads, but not so good in the mud. got pirelli mt 21 front an rear of the 650, and have ran them on the 990. hold up fair on the 650, not so good on the 990. they feel very good on the pavement though. they don't feel squirley like alot of knobbies do. | |

| I ran the MT21's on my KLR, and really liked them. Seemed to last a good long while, and gave good traction in most conditions. Haven't run the Kenda, but hear good things about them. | |

| I ran the M-21's for a few years and liked them really well. Started using the Kenda's not as nice on the pavement but do great off road, last longer and are a whole lot cheaper. | |

| ^Yeah, got some internetz stuff to do. I'll order a set in the next day or two.
*I was looking at the k270 just to get me throu the winter. You know, dinking around the hood. Since I have a ride or two I'm thinking about I'll just get the K760 knobbies and use all my old tires laying around for the wheelies and such.

| I run a 606 front with a kenda trakmaster II rear. I've now Had the kenda for a year with 75% left awesome traction and wear with a cheap price. I like it way better thann the mt21 I didn't like the mt21 wear life or traction. Stay away front the trakmaster II front tire though, I hear it sucks . But the rear is great in my opinion. | |

| ^that's funny. Everyone I talk to say the D606 rear and the Kenda front is the best combo. *rocky is the CHEAPEST...but they don't have a front in. I may just get the d606front and Krear | |

| The negative I heard was the kenda trakmstr 2 front was sketchy on the road vibrated really bad. I think the 606 rear is awesome it just seams to keep going up in price. Plus they don't make it in a 19 rear I thbought thed kenda rear would be rough on the road and chunk out but its suprisingly good on the road and hasn't chunked yet ant I've put it to the test and raced on it with no conplaints for traction. | |

| I don't like the track master on the front very much. Doesn't seem to have very good side bite. I kept hearing about the pirelli scorpion, so I bought one for the front to try. Haven't got it mounted yet. | |

| I'm running Kenda 270s on my DR650. Can't say I really care for them. Pretty squirrely, especially on pavement. I hve 2000 miles on them and it looks like there is another 2000 left.

| I run 606's on my 530. I run a dot Pirelli mt43 rear on my 200exc and wont even look at another tire for it, Im sold. My father in-law has put well over 1000 miles of hwy and gravel on a a pair of MT43s and they look like they have a lot of life left. I might try a rear mt43 on my 530 next. They hook up great and seem to last and last. I don't have any complaints running the 606's on my 530 though. | |

| Just got done spooning on the Kenda's. Wow, so much easier then the 606's. The rear turned out good. The front....is it normal not to have any bead on the front tire? It's as smooth as, well, not me.
*winter storm warning in the mountains...hmmm...maybe i'm putting these tires on for no reason

| Yes the 606's are great tires. Better than the Kenda, until you look at price vs. performance.
*since i blew my rear tube i just replaced it and spooned on the old worn stockers for wheelie practice. Hasn't stopped raining since.

| I still think you need to install some rimlocks Inspector, at least one in the rear or your going to spin off another valve stem. | |

Yep, I got em. When I put the Kenda back on I'll give it a try. Never used one but with the 7 sets I've change and never popping a tube, I'm pretty sure I can figure it out. *shhh...don't tell anyone, but the first couple times I did my tires I brought my laptop out to the garage so I could watch the video why doing it.

I guess you never rode Walker Valley with us before your last ripped off valve stem. That Kenda was looking like it was going to get some traction that day. Ill admit I have watched a video for tricks and refresh a few times before heading out to the shop to change out tires. Get one of those tire changing stands, it makes tire changing a lot better on the back. Best $100 I ever spent. Look forward to hitting the trail with ya again soon Inspector.
