| Nice group of Bimmers. (I always knew you guys were a little 'off', lol). I went sledding today, as I had just finished a turbo/inter-cooler install on my brother's sled and wanted to do a little test and tune. Sled ran great, we had a great time. But I am ready for the snow to be gone so I can get back on the bike. This is up the Colokum area, at what is known as the airstrip. It is primarily used for search and rescue operations, but makes a handy drag strip in the winter. My brother doing a high speed pass. | |

| Wow! I bet there were a lot of cold fingers and toes! I've been out on rides at 30 degrees, and that is about all I can take for extended rides of an hour or so.
How long was the ride? | |

| snowmobiling is alot warmer than riding bikes, with the right gear ofcourse. the coldest day i had on a sled was 37 below zero in west yellow stone montana. had on so many cloth i could hardly move and duct tape on any exposed skin, to prevent frost bite. | |

How long was the ride? With hand warmers and the right gear, you can stay pretty warm. I did have to stop and put on my balaclava part way up because my face and neck were freezing to the point of being painful. Other than that though, we didn't get cold at all. We only rode for about 3 hours, the ride was just to make sure the sled was running right for a big ride he is taking today. Another beautiful day out there today. You and Opie riding today Jer? | |
