| Thought this might be a cool thread in the middle of winter when there's not a lot to do but play on the computer.  I'll kick it off with pictures of some of my past machines....Wish I had a few of them back! I'll admit up front that I'm a bike aholic...I'm sure there's support groups for guys like me  1950 Sunbeam S7 Deluxe (I'm wearing an old helmet that I got at a BMW rally in the swap meet section ) This was a cool bike. All aluminum in line twin cyl overhead cam engine. Shaft driven with a underslung worm gear. This bike had the "Fat Boy" look back before that look was cool.  96 Buell S1 Lightning - Highly Modified.  Sears Twingle. Twin cylinder with one carb. Both cylinders were open to a common cylinder head/combustion chamber. Pretty crazy design and had a unique sound.  66 BMW R60/2 and Steib LS200 Hack  61 Lambretta TV175 Series II (Ended up installing a bolt on 190cc reed valve top end on this scooter along with a Mikuni flat slide carb! It would do 75mph+)  R1150GSA - Awesome bike!  1960? Vespa VBB 150cc.  95 BMW R1100RS  96 Buell S1 Lightning - This was my second S1  62 BMW R27 250cc Single  HD 883 Sportster. (Taken on our way to the Canadian boarder during spring break)  74 Norton 850 Commando  BMW R1150RS  63 BMW R69S and Steib LS200 Hack  Honda Z50 Chrome Special  Greeves  58 Cushman Eagle  Honda CT70H  94 BMW R100GSPD (This was my second PD...the color of this one never grew on my)  Un-restored Harley Davidson Hummer  Hodakaguy | |

| Here's a few I've owned and some that are still around. Troy341 '86 GSX-R750 that I, my wife and a friend painted. Kinda wish that I hadn't sold it.  '89 GSX-R750. Same story about paint. After a friend dumped it, it became a race bike and I still have it although in pieces.  '99 Yamaha R6. A couple of friends got tired of seeing me race my ass off on a slow '89 GSX-R and bought me a newer race bike. Did O.K.  Current race bike. '68 Honda CB160. For sale after I repaint it.  The bike I always wanted in high school. Still have it. Bitch rest was on for one road trip and is no more.  The Gixxasauras. '89 GSX-R750 with a 1100 motor. Currently in line for restoration, read "in boxes".  | |

| Lots of neat photos of some neat bikes. Sure brings back memories. I owned a Vespa 150 just like the one in the photo. It was my 2nd two wheeler, an upgrade from my used Cushman. The Sears Twingle was manufactured by Puch, as I recall.

| The red one is my 1980 Yamaha 1100 Special that I owned for 22 years and rode for 22,000 miles...weird eh? Last i heard the 1100 lives in Asotin. I hope its still cherry and is on the road making smiles. I sold it when I got this '99 Vmax. I know that showing the MAX pix is cheating since I still ride it, but I love the odd brutish looks of it. Lordy is that thng hard on tires!   Hope this worked! | |

| 1992 Yamaha WR500, great do it all race bike!  1999 Suzuki SV650S, my last race bike.  2000 Suzuki DRZ400E, great bike, but not a great race bike.  1989 Yamaha YSR50 with '90 RM80 motor, fun, but wheelie prone.  1980 Suzuki GS750 w/ 1100 motor, Wasco frame and swing arm.  1981 Suzuki GS1000SZ Katana  1983 Honda XL600R w/ Hawk GT front end.  | |

| Yes, that is a piece of a milk jug which was a desperate attempt to keep the rotor from warping at the end of the straight at Spokane. I did get a lot of use out of those leathers, Vanson makes a great product! Here is a pic from just before I retired them.  | |
