mattawa anyone????? 20th

saturday the 20th, 9:00 a.m. shell station (703 Gort Rd) in mattawa. same as last year.


last year inspector, flying ''w'' an i [ but not shane ] went down to mattawa for a day ride in the sage brush, sand and rocks would like to go again. anybody intersted??? date is open, but prefer before turkey day.

I could go for that ride again. We had a good time. Word of warning for folks though. Dress warm. And don't follow bigjer, he will lead you into temptation, and an hour spent trying to get out of the bottomless sand gully. LOL

it only took Inspector an I a half hour to get out of the sand trap . got any particular date in mind? i'm fairly open this time of the year. Inspector says maybe, some lame excuse about a rear tire and chain an sprockets . i think he's . what about shane?? he woosed out last time.

How 'bout it Shane? Is there a weekend that works best for you? We can cruise down together if you like.

Now it seems as thou some drunken wheelies has damaged my license plate lights/holder/turnsignals. Thinking about fixing that myself and putting off buying new parts. Just need to find a CHEAP set of tires and I could be in.

did you sneak a little sample of katoomvicitm's moldy grape juice? you don't need no stinkin lights/holder/turnsignals for mattawa, besides if you fix them now you'll probably have to fix them again after mattawa. you should have hand delivered it to mattawa, then we could have all sampled it BEFORE we went for a ride. do your tires still hold air??? if they do, then your good to go!

i was in the middle of changing tires on the 650 tonight when i noticed my rear wheel bearings have had it!!
a wee bit of ''over maintance'' should be able to get them by friday[i hope].

SO SOME BODY THROW A DATE OUT THAT WILL WORK AN WE'LL GO FROM THERE.

the list: me, ''w'', lurking: yamwow, inspector,--------shane?, katoomvictim? mattawa is a easy ride, [ don't belive ''w''] there's all types of terrain,sand, rocks, some technical deep draws , dirt roads, small hills. all of the ''tough'' stuff has alternate routes around it.

Hey, I'm no wussy, although there may be evidence to the contrary. I will totally go, I was just hoping Shane would pipe in with a date that works for him so he can go.

And yeah, the ride isn't hard at all. That gully was a bit of a go for sure, but other than that, a very nice ride. C'mon Shane, wadya say?

Heeeeeeyyyyyy, you guys picked a horrable month, november seems to always be busy for us. i will ask the wife about what dates work for her. you may just have to pick a date and i will just have to try and make it work.

I was away from the computer for a couple days and look what happens !

i might get another guy to go. his plated bike is down and out but he sais he has a smoker he can take . so is the area we are ridding in for plated vehicles only ?

I would rather go on a saterday and leave sunday for healing if need be.

were are all the other tri cities boys at ?

ok, i talked to the boss and the 20th or 27th will work for me. the 21st and 28th would work also but i am all about "on any saterday". next weekened i am out of town for some training so that will not work for me.

*ordered my chain and spockets (need a couple other things too), but probably won't be installing them until Dec. Semi-fixed my license plate thing. Just need to figure out tires which I'm sure I won't get in time so......

how about the 20th? the sooner the better as far as weather is concerned. that way we could always use the 27th as a back up if weather is to nasty. what say the gallery??

The 20th it is. Look forward to seeing everyone. Hey Inspector, if you want to come over the day before, we can work on your bike at my shop, and you are welcome to crash at my place.

I'm in for the 20th. My rear tire is a drag slick, but I have a ktm so its all good. Shane, figure out our transport situation and let me know. I'm down for a good day of cold weather riding.

Still have a mile or two until staging area after that. So I would say ready to leave there at 0900
