I'll be leaving saturday morning 6am, eta 9am Mattawa.

Bought a set of cable chains just to be on the safe side.

Lol, I have no problem being on the bike all day long. It's when the getting there boring stuff uses up 25% of the tire.....

Solo and I should be in. Both of us are having tire problems it seems, but we are just trying to figure out whether we are truckpooling or going separate.

there is cell phone service but very scarce. the best spot is at the shell stations parking lot... i believe thats a shell station. Have fun every one I wish i could be there.

so i just took off my throttle tube becuase it was sticking and washing it out and dryed it what type of lube do i use for between the tube and bar?

i have not left yet either, i was planning on it but still waiting for the ups truck to come deliver my new boots. still planning on leaving tonight though. might find somewhere closer to staging area to stay at vs our house in moses lake.

Graphite works well for throttle tube lubing

i just ended up lubing my cables and spraying a little dupont teflon chain/cable lube on it seems to work as long as it does not attrackt crap .

weather for tomorrow is high of 41, with a 30% chance of precipitation in mattawa. just checked the wasdot. camera at vantage and there is no snow . weather for here in oroville tomorrow, snow wind and cold. just generally shitty!! soooo mattawa it is. more than likely the last time i will be on 2 wheels this year.

Im packed and ready to go. I should be of by midnight. Get some then then more then load the bike then off to Inspectors house .

poor poor inspector!, any how, the drive home was good shape. inspector inspector inspector...... what are we going to do with you? the ride was good. it was cold cold cold, visibilty at first was horrible but 2 hrs later it lifted and was all good. i didnt take any pics. im sorry i just could not move my fingers and when i got the feeling back in them i was for sure not going to take my gloves off to take a pic. all in all no casualties. all the bikes made it out a live. i think Jer has a pic of me or my bike laying in a bed of tumble weed. well u all have a good evening. im going to town.

drove all that way an couldn't find his KEY!!!!!

couple of pics for now, more to come . inspector checking all his pockets, well all but one anyway. i'm starting to think he was just of a little snow.

Had fun, even though you guys ditched me for abit... :)

I noticed driving back, there are alot of trails to be done on that east side of the road.

For example, I saw going up that hill (fromthe vantage bridge side) where the tall rocks are(east side), there are trails going out that way. I scouted parking at the bottom the hill, so we'd street ride less than a mile I think to get to the trails up there.

Anyone up for a return adventure, as long as wont have to do any sandy hill climbs, I think I really dislike those... :)

I'll post the pics I took tomorrow, I need to go jump in the jacuuzi.
