Those dates coincide with my annual trip up to North Idaho, so "I'm in".....

Temptation - missed it last year
Trying to figure out how to haul the travel trailer over, dump the wife and kids at Silverwood theme park and go ride for two days.
Here's a message I got a couple days ago:
Hi Guys Hope you all are well. Since you all were brave enough to join us for our “first annual” rally last year, we wanted to make you the first to hear that we have opened registration for this year. We greatly appreciate your support last year. This year the rally will be held August 12th – 14th in order to avoid the snow that prohibited some of the routes last year. We have a lot of interest in the rally this year which we are going to cap it at 50 riders to maintain the feel of a small group and want to make sure we have room for you if you want to return for 2011. We are also eliminating the dirt bike portion of the ride in order to focus solely on the Adventure / Dual Sport routes.
We expect to have several route options each day but the overall format will be similar. We plan to have a pig roast again Saturday night – that seemed to be a big hit. We will also be offering a “non-camping” option at a neighbors yurt village which is just up the road with full bathrooms and showers. They can accommodate 12 people in their three yurts. We don’t have final pricing on this yet but hope to have it soon.
Hopefully the price increase will not scare any of you off. Last year we learned a lot and we thought the $99 price was an excellent value in order to use a small group as guinea pigs to see if we could pull it off and based on the feedback we received from many of you at the event we passed the test. This year the rate will be $139 (+ extra for the yurt option if you choose). We still feel it is a good value for what we are providing. We certainly aren’t looking at this as a money making activity – trust me. We will also be improving the property to provide more parking for RVs and campers.
The information page is here with a link to sign up at the bottom of the page.
We should have many of the sponsors back and plan to do an auction for the Rider Down organization as well.
Hope to see you here in August.
If you have any suggestions on how we can improve the event PLEASE let us know. We value your feedback and want to make this years’ rally an even bigger success.
Take care Kurt & Martha

[b]Very nice looking rally! I put it up on the RideDualSport.com event calendar, with a link to the website. Very awesome summer riding, for those baking in the Texas heat!

Should be fun!
