Steering wheel?! I don't need no stinking steering wheel!

So my boyfriend races a Yamaha Rhino. He travels up and down the West racing WORCS and has won the championship in his class 4 times. He also sweeps on the dirtbike all day Saturday and Sunday. The opening round in Taft was going to be good and the turnout was great, but 2/3rds into the first lap his steering wheel breaks off in his hands...lucky for him, he's a quick thinker and used a pair of vise-grips in the glove box to finish his race and get some points. It's kind of funny - you can totally see him go "WTH?!" Which is about halfway through the video (the still on the youtube video is him putting the vise-grips on). p.s. This model doesn't have power steering...

He's currently headed to Primm for round 2. Primm is a dual bike/quad round and it's pretty neat. You can stand in the middle and watch both sides race. The bikes just do a big Nevada desert race, and the quads get the trophy track. Both sides get A TON of whoops. & When you're done racing you can go inside the casino and ride the roller coaster or send wifey to the outlet mall across the street.
