For those that don't know, there is a poker run this weekend being held in Mattawa by the Fringe MC. It started last year as a memorial get together for one of the founding members of the club, and they decided to do another run this year. Its like a mini Desert 100, with the terrain being very similar, just not as whooped out. They also have a hill climb competition. The event happens both Saturday and Sunday, with riders heading out at 9 am, last rider out at 12.
Directions sound pretty easy; From either East or West I-90, take the Hwy 243 exit South towards Mattawa (just on the East side of the Vantage bridge). At mile post 27, take the driveway East and follow the signs.

got the KLR in the shop for a spring tune up and i have my son as well. always wanted to explore that area everytime i pass through. Please post again next time you go and im there
