| Just got myself a little piggie. A 2003 L, bone stock. Got a steal on it, should work out great for the long rides and 2-up. Here today - A week ago, when I got it. It was completely stock, even with Deathwings. This is after I took the wings and smog-tupus off. I have done -get rid of whale tail brakelight, and donkey dong turn signals and put on LED's/skinny tail light -skid plate, bark busters -Dave's mods (thumpertalk) +rejet -UNI filter air filter -pull snorkel off airbox, smog-topus, grind header welds on header -FMF Q4 exhaust -Spud Shorai battery relocation mod (thumpertalk) +XR600 panels -XR650R Countershaft sprocket + Supersrox + RKGW X ring chain -HID headlight retrofit -Oil Temp gauge -Oil Cooler -Dual Sport foldable mirrors -GPS waterproof mount + power plug -heated gear/air compressor plug other doodads I slapped a D606 on the rear, I think Pirellis are going on when these run out. I might eat through the rears too fast, so I might go Chen Shing cheapo rears haha

| The 650 will be alot better for the longer trips. That stock front tire is going to have to go. I found that the bike is real front heavy and it is real easy to go into the corners a little fast and have the front washout. The D606 front and rear were the best tires. The real down side was that they wear out fast . (still cheaper than a hospital visit) I missed your call the other day. I belive I still have a pile of new spark plugs for the 650 in diffrent heat ranges you can have. When I find them I will PM you. As soon as the weather is a little better I will be ready to ride (two to three weeks?) | |

| Congrats, nice bike. Why the XRR sprocket? Does the XRL sprocket have a cush drive? | |

| thanks. yeah, I moved the batt under the seat on the airbox. I had some spare xr250 side plates laying around so I used those, the fit right up. I guess the XR600 plates work too. The XRR sprocket is thicker, contacts more splines, so you dont wear the countershaft splines. no cush drive on either. that would be cool, give me a call when you have some time and we can go ride | |

I need to mount a tripod and take some better pictures 15/s F4.0 1600iso Lo beam.. same settings XR250 for comparison.. my 4Runner headlights on HI.. 15/s F4.0 1600ISO... same settings on the camera | |

| well bike is finishing up for the short term... pro moto rack on.. I really like it. nice and wide, but lightweight. slapped a pirelli front on. dirt-bike-gear bag for my air compressor and tools, very nice bag :) wrapped my handlebars with some rope jacket juice :D. finally I can run some some heated gear!! nothing like cheap heat | |
