Hey Inconcievable, here's that clutch cover gaurd we were talking about

They only make it for two smokers now...I sent them a email asking if they are going to make them for the 530's as well. Looks like a great idea.

Ok I just called and talked with John the owner. He says he is going to make them just not sure on a time table. Left my name and number and he is going to give me a call when he has them made. Will post when that happens.

Ok I have final got around to installing the System Tech Racing Machined Clutch Cover Guard.



Here is the problem. The stock brake rubs against the clutch cover and has wore a couple of grooves in it. Once I noticed this I filed everything smooth but it still would rub. I was also worried that if I layed the bike down in a crash the brake lever could put a hole in the cover not to mention any rocks.

I installed mine with high temp RTV and a quick ride down the road and everything clears.
