Day trip to Harris Park

Decided to go to Harris Park this weekend to try out the new bikes. I recently picked up a used 530 from a friend (Oh yeah back in the bike game again!) and my friend Mike just picked up a low hr 525 Exc after a 15 year break from riding bikes. Our friend Andy decided to go so we loaded up the bikes and headed out early for Harris.

Andy's 530 at the crash site (A Cessna 150 crashed in this clearing years ago and it's kind of a reference point now. They did trail clean up/maint last summer and removed most of the wreckage...just a few small pieces now remain).

Back at the truck we ran into a guy with a cool 73 Westy. Turns out he also rides a KTM and even has a Hodakaguy Twist-A-Plate on it, Small world :-)




We all had a great time. Mike did really good and completed the whole 33 mile loop. not bad for the first time out after a 15 year break. :clap
