Another Portland Newb

Hey y'all,

I have been riding the NW for about 10 years but recently started going the dual-sport route. About 3 years ago I sold my FZ6 and switched to a V Strom. After beating myself (even more) senseless riding the OBDCR (Section 4) last summer I saw the light and last month got a WR250R. I now spend each weekend trying to get to dirt tracks with a mixed amount of success, oddly the winter weather has not always been cooperative
Looking to try some of the Portland urban dirt rallys at some point and see if anyone has pointers on where I can get muddy in under an hour's ride. I usually head out to Mt Hood or Browns or out the end of Skyline but those all take a bit to get to/from. By now my neighbors hate me by now, especially after I put on the FMF :)

I'm also on the wr250 forum (not much activity), stromtroopers (a good group) and ADV (great RR's but a million people!).

Nice to meet you, hopefully I'll be seeing some of you around the mountain when the weather gets warm 

So, uh, not the busiest forum. Too bad, would love to get a group ride bigger than two people!
