Electical Issues?

I installed flush mount blinkers on the back of my XR650L, and Tusk-D hand guards with LED's mounted in the guard to clean up and streamline the pig, but I can't get them to flash.  Anyone have any experience with this?  I have done some research and have seen several suggestions to change out the flasher due to having LED's, and I haven't tried that yet. The question I have is can I have LED's on the front and regular element's on the rear and still get them to work with a new flasher?

Hmmm.  Wish I had a definitive answer for you but since different bikes are different.....  Mine will work but the flash rate changes, doesn't bother me.
I'm guessing that you are correct in needing to change out the flasher.  Some bikes won't work if you change out any lights with LED and not also change out the flasher.

You do need an LED specific flasher for those. I have the same set up on my bike. I am using this one right here.

I'll give it a try.  I was just a bit concerned as to whether an LED flasher would work since the back blinkers are flush mount element style and not LED.  Will that flasher work to run both LED and non-LED?

I'm running LED blinkers on the front with bulb blinkers on the back with the LED flasher and everything works fine.
