Spent yesterday exploring Canyon Creek Road in Whatcom county. It is washed out about 6 miles up. I found some other over grown roads to checkout. Found some great views. Nice day of riding. I have spent many miles on this road in the past in my Montero and dr350. Always a new place to explore.
Spent 45 mintues riding this road. Small trees over road were ok on Versys. The leaners proved too much without an axe.
This was coming down another road. It as pretty steep uphill and the bike did fine, only a few dabs and one two feet down and lots of wheel spin to keep going. Going down was challenging but doable.
Killer views and new camp spot found on much easier gravel roads.
Here is road closed sign about 5.5 miles up. Could not resist going around it. :) Talked with some Border patrol guys behind me in the pic...they said not our jurisdiction go for it :)
This was still passable but I decided if it went while on the other side my wife might not be too happy.
Great day of riding.

Although I no longer ride, I enjoy reading about others' adventures. I don't see much anymore. How come?
