A Little Dunes ride!

Just a little update on the bike shopping. Rather than rush into a BRP or a bike I'm going to be unhappy with, I went the other way and found my roots and bought another CR500 today. A new dualsport will be well thought out and not rushed into. But this bike will more than provide my dirt fix!

Way to go dad! If your son is smiling that much, I can only imagine how big the grin on his dad's face is

Ha Ha Ha! He's just happy cause I told him it's his inhertance! You guys are all going to freak when you see me pull up for breakfast one day on that with a plate and signals! I'm pretty happy with it.

Heres a couple more pictures. Been riding the wheels off of the CR. Now with the lift, the fun of being able to wrench on them comfortably has returned too!






I am restoring the CR back to stock form also or as close as I can get it anyway

Nice pic of the dunes, I wish my klr was better in the sand. I have a vintage three Wheeler that's unstoppable out there but tank finally started leaking. I will have to pour that epoxy stuff in there soon so I can get my sand fix.

How is that CR coming along?

Coming along pretty good. Run out of money quick revamping these things. Is that 5 hundy yours, or one you owned? Nice looking. Ya that lift has been a life saver. So much easier to work on the bikes with.





I put new plastic on the CR and spent the afternoon today trying to staighten out the expansion chamber and had to weld up a spot on it.
That lift even holds my bigass V-Star. Pretty handy too for $249

Is that a Harbor Freight lift?

Yeah its the Harborfreight 1000 pounder. for the price it's just great. Its foot operated which is good for me cause I can go play in the shop at night and dont have to run a compressor to use it. That 500 is it for sale? Thats a great looking bike

Heres another day heading out. It's real nice being able to go across the street and have and enormous area all to your self to ride! Now that I took him once I can't keep him off it.
