Not really a gear or equipment review but a vendor review.
I stopped by Atomic-Moto on Wed. and talked to Brian and his wife about some gear and even though they don't actually have a store as you would normally see they still helped me out with the best service I have ever gotten. I just got into this whole off road riding and needed some gear and was not sure how things would fit, Brian told me to stop by and he would hook me up, and he did. Even though the jacket I wanted was out of stock I now know when it arrives it will fit. And as soon as I can convince the wife to let me get some boots and Brian gets in the new cool one that he was showing me, I will be placing another order with them.

By the way I picked up the Klim Dakar pants and as soon as I get a chance to throughly test them I will throw up a review on them.

Atomic-Moto 99711 That sounds like a very interesting pant. I like the idea of heavy duty cordura, padding and vents. Look forward to your review.

Just got back from a 400 mile ride today, it was all pavement though. The pants were very comfortable for an all day ride, I did not have a single issue with them at all.

The Klim Dakar pants are nice, adjustable vents and the bottoms are pully adjustable as well. They're an over the boot pant but you can slim up the cuffs and wear them as in in the boot pant too. Bweg borrow or steal a pair because they are popular and Klim is having a time keeping up with demand. The new light gray color is pretty sharp looking too!

I had to go with black because that is all they come in in the tall sizes. They are actually a dark green and black.
