Just wanted to get out and have a fun, no wreck day. I think I accomplished that. LOL.
Remember when I tried to get up here but couldn't find the way? Well I found it. Don't know how I missed the road.
Just some pics along the way. Can't believe how warm it's been but the colors are changing.
Is that a road up there? Lets go find out.
I think it is..errr..was
165.xx miles. Mostly FS roads, but still a fun day.
How about this one? Is this a road?
Well maybe it was, but it's prettier going the other way, so I'll just keep going up the mountain.
Came to this eerie place. Blue flags all over
Someone/something spent a little time collecting and placing rocks
Then we have this..what looks like rug material all spread out on a small hillside.
Then at the top is a placed pole/small tree thing.
Rock with drilled holes. Probably for blasting?
Went to the top. Played around on side roads, then went back down and up the other side where I had been before.
Road then trail. Seemed like couple mile of this stuff...fun.
Came to this tree.
Started to walk the bike under when the fan came on. cRRERRRER sound comes from the radiator fan. WTF?? Turned around, took some clothing off, sat down and thought about taking the bike apart and seeing how bad it was. Luckily I looked up in there before I started that.
It was a pain getting all the leaves out with a hot radiator.
Here are a few out of place mountain pcs.
Getting close to finishing up explored a bunch of roads. Ran out of time and gas. Still a lot more. Could have gone into Cle Ulem (sp)
Pics of one curvy road.
On the way home, clouds rolling down over the hills. Looked cooler in person.
Also I-90 had a rolling road block. Haha, least I wasn't on it.
